Young Whitney outshines seniors to show she’s on right track


PETALING JAYA: Whitney Isabelle Wilson (pic) is on the right track to close the gap on her seniors, judging by her performance in the third leg of the National Junior Circuit squash championship.

The 15-year-old Whitney emerged as the newly-crowned champion in the girls’ under-19 category after triumphing over Chen Yu Jie in the final with a swift 11-2, 11-6, 11-7 victory in 16 minutes at the Astaka Sports Centre in Petaling Jaya yesterday.
