Squash queen Sivasangari nails second title of the year in Hong Kong


PETALING JAYA: Squash star S. Sivasangari continued her sizzling form when she nailed her second title of the year after triumphing in the Hong Kong Football Club Open on Saturday (Nov 25).

The world No. 22 doubles Asian Games champion delivered her A-game to stun fourth seed and Egypt’s world No. 18 Amina Orfi 11-9, 11-8, 11-5 in a thrilling 39-minute women’s final.

It was Sivasangari's second Professional Squash Association (PSA) title after making a comeback from a road accident early this year.

In August, she lifted the Tunku Muhriz Trophy title in style.
