On cloud nine: U. Thanusaa reacts after winning the RedONE PSA-WSF Satellite title at the Astaka courts in Petaling Jaya.

PETALING JAYA: Junior squash prodigy U. Thanusaa, who models herself after Malaysia’s top women player S. Sivasangari, took early steps in following the career path of her idol by winning her third professional satellite title of the year at the Astaka Courts.

Thanusaa, 18, had already bagged the ACE Professional Squash Association (PSA) WSF Satellites 1 and 2 over the last two months and added the third RedONE PSA-WSF Satellite title yesterday by beating Hong Kong’s Kirstie Wong 6-11, 11-8, 11-4, 11-5 in a 31-minute final.
