Solid sister act

Dynamic duo: Aifa Azman (left) and her sister Aira posing with the trophies after winning the women’s doubles title at the Asian Doubles Championships in Johor Baru yesterday.

PETALING JAYA: Aira Azman had been looking forward to winning a title with her sister Aifa on the international stage for some time and they were spot-on in their very first event – the Asian Doubles Championships – by clinching the women’s doubles crown in Johor Baru yesterday.

Since Aifa-Aira won the 2022 Malaysia Games women’s doubles crown in Kuala Lumpur, they have been seeking an international breakthrough and they’ve only had that chance at the Asian Doubles.
