Sivasangari falls to Weaver


PETALING JAYA: National squash player S. Sivasangari (pic) didn’t make it all the way to the finals at the Silicon Valley Open in California, but the world No. 9 player received big praise from her opponent.

Sivasangari fell to world No. 4 and tournament top seed Olivia Weaver of the United States in the semi-finals, losing the match 6-11, 11-8, 14-12, 9-11, 5-11 in Redwood City on Tuesday.
