Ainaa goes down fighting to France’s Alves in Hamilton Open final


PETALING JAYA: Squash player Noor Ainaa Amani Ampandi (pic) fell short of what could have been the biggest title of her career as she finished runner-up at the Hamilton Open in Pennsylvania, the United States, yesterday.

Tournament fourth seed Ainaa earned her way into the final but could not overpower top seed Melissa Alves of France, losing the match 11-4, 11-2, 3-11, 5-11, 4-11 in Lancaster.
