Rachel shows perseverance and self-belief pay off with China Open victory

PETALING JAYA: Doubt can creep in when you don’t win any Open titles for five years.

But on Sunday, the 28-year-old squash player Rachel Arnold proved that her perseverance has paid off and that she still has it in her when she nicked the China Open title after beating world No. 15 Farida Mohamed of Egypt in the women’s final at the Shanghai Oriental Sports Center.
