Close call for Coll

PETALING JAYA: Squash player Aira Azman (pic) nearly pulled off a huge upset win over Belgium’s world No. 7 Nele Coll in the Hong Kong Open.

World No. 31 Aira was just one point away from victory in her first meeting against Coll when she held match point at 10-9 in the fourth game but sadly could not convert and went down 11-7, 13-11, 8-11, 12-14, 7-11 in a thrilling first round match at the Hong Kong Squash Center yesterday.
