Sanjay on track for top 50 after reaching semis in Toronto


PETALING JAYA: Time spent training in England has been paying off for national squash player Sanjay Jeeva as he continues to show progress in his pursuit of breaking into the top 50 this year.

The 25-year-old on Thursday defeated eighth seed Frenchman Toufik Mekhalfi 8-11, 13-11, 11-2, 4-11, 11-4 to enter the semi-finals of the Goodfellow Classic, which is a 15K level tournament, in Toronto on Thursday.
