Wendy’s birthday wish is just to grab early Olympics ticket

Delaying gratification: Wendy had no time to celebrate her milestone birthday as she had to focus on her preparation for an Olympic qualifying meet.

PETALING JAYA: Veteran diver Wendy Ng Yan Yee turned 30 in Fukuoka on Tuesday with only one birthday wish on her mind.

She hopes to get her act right and nail an early qualification spot to the Paris Olympics in her last World Championships campaign starting today in Japan.
