Andrew splashes to his second national record of the day to take gold

KUCHING: Selangor’s Andrew Goh set the Pandelela Rinong Aquatic Centre on fire with his second national record swim of the day. He clocked a sizzling 27.40s to win the boys' 50m breaststroke final.

He smashed his national record when he swam 28.03s in the heats in the morning.

Isabelle Chiyi Buckley, only 15, also made a sensational Malaysia Games (Sukma) debut for Federal Territories by breaking the Sukma record in the girls’ 50m breaststroke final.

She clocked 32.76s to dip under the 32.83s she set hours ago.

Alicia Li Ann Soosai of Johor took the silver in 33.10s ahead of Low Ee Mang of Selangor (33.68s).
