KUCHING: Swimmer Andrew Goh is on course to claiming a special Sukma double after setting his second national record in the boy’s 50m breaststroke heats at Pandelela Rinong Aquatic Centre this morning.

The Selangor swimmer smashed his own national mark of 28.10s he set last year after posting 28.03s to enter the final as the fastest qualifier.

Andrew had set a new national record time when he won the boy’s 100m breaststroke event on Monday.

Isabelle Chiyi Buckley of Federal Territories was also in record breaking mood as she smashed the Sukma record in the girls’ 50m breaststroke heats.

Isabelle posted 32.83s to break the previous Sukma record of 33.29s held by Christina Loh of Penang since 2016.
