PETALING JAYA: Khiew Hoe Yean made a quiet debut in the World Shortcourse Swimming Championships in Budapest, Hungary, yesterday.

The 22-year-old did not go near his national record in his pet 400m freestyle event after clocking only 3:44.69s to finish 23rd overall in the heats.
