Not a good day for Khiew and Co in Hungary

PETALING JAYA: National swimmer Khiew Hoe Yean could not catch up with the leaders in the 200m backstroke event at the World Short Course Swimming Championships in Budapest, Hungary, yesterday.

The 22-year-old’s time of 1:57.68s was not enough to see him through to the final, as he sat in the 33rd overall spot in the heats but was the fastest South-East Asian finisher in the event.
