PARIS: Tokyo Olympics tennis silver medallist Marketa Vondrousova withdrew from the Paris Games on Monday because of a hand injury.

Also pulling out of the tennis competition in Paris was Poland’s Hubert Hurkacz, who hurt his knee at Wimbledon this month.
