MELBOURNE (Reuters) - Highlights of the third day of the Australian Open on Tuesday (all times GMT):

0015 PLAY UNDERWAY UNDER SUNNY SKIES ON DAY THREE

Play got underway on schedule in bright sunshine on day three of the championships at Melbourne Park with the temperature 21 degrees Celsius (70F) and forecast to peak at 26.

The first round continues with Daniil Medvedev, home favourite Alex de Minaur and Italy's Jasmine Paolini in action, while Taylor Fritz battles Jenson Brooksby in one of three all-American clashes.
