Smell the fresh air with Hong Kong star Louis Koo


ONE of the easiest ways to freshen up your personal space is to give it a new scent.

However, artificial and synthetic fragrances may contain harmful chemicals.

But thanks to Vanzo, there are now options for non-toxic air fresheners that not only keep your home and living spaces smelling clean and fresh but also come with a sterilising function.

Vanzo’s two latest air freshener series – Gentleman and Goddess – feature a sterilising function that is certified with an SGS International Sterilisation Report.

“As a functional brand, we are proud to have come up with Malaysia’s first certified sterilising air freshener, ” said Vanzo Asia Sdn Bhd Founder and Chief Executive Officer Eddie Ng.

The Gentleman series comes in a sleek black cubic bottle.

“We have a range of air fresheners and car fragrances made of plant extracts and free from alcohol, formaldehyde, benzene and toluene, and our latest Gentleman and Goddess series come with a sterilising function certified by SGS International.”

Vanzo is also the first company using Japan’s new OEF technology, infiltrate then emanates the smooth fragrance.

Vanzo works with two Japanese leading fragrance specialists, Ogawa Flavours and Fragrances, and Taiyo Corporation which have over 125 years’ experience in manufacturing fragrances.

“We understand that health and safety are a priority for Malaysians. Our products have gone through and passed the acute inhalation toxicity test for our consumers’ peace of mind, ” he said.

In addition to health-conscious attributes, the air fresheners – housed in a sleek cubic design with handmade leather cover – boast exclusive scents modulated by Ng personally.

“The latest additions to the Vanzo family went through a total of 132 scent formulations before hitting the perfect note, ” added Ng.

Louis Koo is the brand ambassador for the Vanzo air freshener Gentleman series.

Hong Kong veteran actor-producer Louis Koo has been appointed as the new face of Vanzo for the Gentleman series of air freshener.

Joining Koo is fellow artiste Priscilla Wong as the brand ambassador for Vanzo’s Goddess air freshener series.

Priscilla Wong is the face of the Vanzo Goddess series.

Koo was recently awarded an honorary fellowship by the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts.

He was among 10 individuals – among them Hong Kong singer Jacky Cheung, Hong Kong actor Wong Cho Lam, veteran actor Lau Shun and opera singer Leung So Kam – who were recognised for their achievements and contributions to the performing arts and cultural industry as well as the development of the academy.

Vanzo is tapping into Koo and Priscilla’s popularity to represent the brand in delivering quality air fresheners to Malaysians.

Vanzo’s products are available at 3,500 local retailers including pharmacies, car accessories outlets and supermarkets.

“We are targeting 10,000 retailers within two years to make our quality air fresheners accessible to more people, ” said Ng.

Vanzo’s products are also available in China Alibaba's online shopping platform, Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Brunei.
