Astro, the home of sports for Malaysians, announced that it is giving its content a fresh take with new channels to give viewers more sporting thrills come Oct 1, 2021.
Astro customers can tune in to the exciting new channels: Astro Arena 2 (CH802), Astro SuperSport 5 (CH815) and the brand new sports channel SPOTV (CH816) at no extra cost.
This comes after Disney’s announcement that it would be discontinuing certain linear channels in the region after Sept 30, 2021 – as part of its strategy to push its streaming services instead.

Adding to the comprehensive coverage of the Astro Sports Pack, you will have access to this new channel and continue to enjoy top global sporting events like F1.
Catch the race including practice sessions and qualifiers leading up to the Formula 1 World Championships – Turkish Grand Prix 2021: Main Race (Oct 10, 2021).
If you are into mixed martial arts (MMA), this new sports channel will feature matches from the popular MMA television series Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).
For football fans, you get to watch Bundesliga matches as well as the 2021 UEFA Nations League Finals.
