FLASH Malaysia Express Sdn Bhd, a business unit under Flash Group, is looking to create 10,000 job opportunities in Malaysia, in line with its expansion here.
Flash Express Malaysia, which offers a fast delivery service alongside the warehousing and fulfilment solutions for businesses, started its operation on Oct 25, 2021.
The company has three main services – free door-to-door pick up, low cash-on-delivery (COD) rate, and 365 days delivery operations with no holidays.
Flash Express Malaysia chief executive officer Di Wei Jie said the company is determined to provide fast, reliable and quality courier services to customers with responsibility and care.
“We are currently operating in markets located in Thailand, the Philippines and Laos. We are excited to be expanding our reach to Malaysia, with the principle of ‘In Mind, In Delivery’,” said Di.
Flash Express Malaysia started with just a single hub in Klang back on Sept 3 of 2021. Although having only started in that single hub, Flash Express Malaysia is now servicing Malaysians nationwide, checking in and delivering some 30,000 deliveries every day.
“At Flash Express Malaysia, we are committed to ensuring the quality of our professional team, being recognised as a core value-driven organisation and uplifting as a good governance company,” said Di.
“Currently we have a workforce size of around 4,000. We aim to increase our workforce, including riders and staff, to approximately 10,000 in 2022,” he added.
With e-commerce in the country experiencing robust growth, Flash Express Malaysia is determined to be a main player in the logistics sector.
“E-commerce companies require a strong logistics partner to deliver their products to their consumers effectively at a cost-effective and competitive price.
“We are looking to be your delivery partner of choice – not just a delivery company but also a supporter of e-commerce. Our business expansion in Malaysia does not only help to stimulate the country’s economy, but we’re also committed to contributing positively and providing job opportunities in Malaysia,” Di continued.
Flash Group CEO Komsan Saelee expressed his gratitude to all the government agencies, stakeholders, partners, employees and suppliers who have given Flash Express Malaysia a chance to provide their courier service in local communities.
“Flash Express Malaysia offers a one-stop solution for e-commerce businesses through various products and services to boost growth in every dimension – from logistics and supply chain to financial solutions and technology services.
“We ventured into this business with a firm belief that online business operators deserve more delivery options; faster, more value for money,” said Saelee.
“We’ve gone above and beyond to unlock the next level of logistics and set a new standard for the logistics industry.
“Every day we continue to innovate and develop the best services to make our company grow more efficiently and with future-forward strategies.
The full-service logistics provider initially opened its first Flash Shop in Kenanga Wholesales City (KWC) earlier this year on Jan 8.
