AS Malaysia’s borders re-open and the nation transitions to an endemic phase, Pavilion REIT Malls are excited to welcome visitors to celebrate Hari Raya with plenty of festive shopping, buka puasa reunions, fun times and exciting rewards.
Pavilion Kuala Lumpur
Pavilion Kuala Lumpur celebrates Hari Raya with Eid In Harmony, a particularly meaningful theme in current times. Despite whatever uncertainties or troubles that may surround us, living healthily, happily and harmoniously with ourselves and our surroundings is priority, and a reason to celebrate.
This Raya, the mall proudly partners the Ministry of Tourism, Art and Culture and Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur (DBKL) to showcase Malaysian Cultural Dance and Musical Performances throughout its campaign. At the Eid In Harmony Marketplace, partnership with Kraftangan Malaysia and Malaysian vendors such as duluKINI and Pavilion Hotel Kuala Lumpur present shoppers an opportunity to indulge in festive shopping. Additionally, a collaboration with Yayasan Tuanku Nur Zahirah features a colourful pop-up of designer Dato' Radzuan Radziwill's Bergaya Raya festive collection.
Following the Persian New Year celebration presented by the Embassy of Iran from April 2-7 at Pavilion KL’s Centre Court, Eid In Harmony was launched on April 8, featuring elements of Iranian inspiration in its festive decor as a cross cultural showcase and a unique experience at the mall from May 16.
At the Eid In Harmony Marketplace at Centre Court, pick up Raya gifts and souvenirs from a variety of Malaysian and Iranian handicraft. There are also plenty of immersive activities such as the first live Persian carpet weaving demonstrations in Malaysia, enamelling on copper handicraft workshops, as well as musical and dance performances from both cultures to experience.
“With Malaysian borders now open to international visitors, we expect to see a major multiplier effect on several tourism-related sectors, and as Malaysia’s premier shopping destination, we are confident our foot traffic will increase significantly.
“Pavilion KL marks this long-awaited moment to present yet another magnificent festive campaign to our visitors,” said Pavilion KL Retail chief executive officer Datuk Joyce Yap.
Plenty of festive treats and shopping await at Pavilion KL. Shop for your stylish Raya outfit at Variante, matched with a beautiful headscarf from Arzu or dUCK, and find your signature scent from Arabian Oud. Break your fast with a delectable Middle Eastern iftar at Al Halabi Gourmet Restaurant, grab coffee and dessert at Pavilion KL’s newest café The Coffee Academïcs or catch the latest blockbusters at Dadi Cinema.
