Find yourself at ISKL with scholarships for Form 3 and 5 students

MANY things set the International School of Kuala Lumpur (ISKL) apart from other international schools, but one of the most significant is the strong academic results of its students.

From elementary to high school, the school’s results consistently outperform regional and worldwide averages.

In its commitment to achieving the school’s vision and mission, ISKL offers two types of scholarships for Malaysian students:

  • ISKL Pathways Scholarship for Form 3 students: A four-year scholarship for high school
  • ISKL IBDP Scholarship for Form 5 students: A two-year scholarship for the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP)

A place where you can be all you are

“What I love the most about ISKL is the ‘Be All You Are’ tagline. At ISKL, I feel that I can be all that I am,” comments IBDP scholar Ameerul A.

ISKL offers a robust international curriculum that combines leading North American educational frameworks with global best practice. The school’s unique offering of a wide range of high-quality, transdisciplinary pathways enables every learner to choose the curriculum best suited to their abilities, interests and aspirations.

In addition to the prestigious IBDP, ISKL offers two innovative study pathways, PRAXIS 2030 (Grade 9 and 10) and the Pursuits Programme (Grade 11 and 12), which focus on enhancing student agency and self-directed learning.

The curriculum recognises that students are on a lifelong learning journey and is driven by ISKL’s mission to challenge each student to ‘be all you are’ and develop the attitudes, skills, knowledge and understanding to become a highly successful, spirited, socially responsible global citizen.

ISKL Pathways scholarship

In an ever-changing world, students need to become changemakers who actively seek positive change and gather the insight and the means to make these changes happen.

The ISKL Pathways Scholarship for two Form 3 Malaysian students aims to nurture changemakers by providing them with the tools that will help unlock their potential. The scholarships are merit and need-based and are equivalent to a four-year study in the high school programme, from Grade 9 to Grade 12.

The scholarships will be awarded to deserving and inspirational students passionate about achieving the competencies to make a positive impact and be nurtured and guided in further developing their passions and understanding of the world to transform themselves, others, and the environment.

ISKL IBDP scholarship

The IBDP is a cornerstone of the academic experience at ISKL, providing a challenging two-year pre-university curriculum that leads to a qualification recognised worldwide. The scholarship, approved by the Ministry of Education, has been running for over 20 years. Each year sees ISKL offering two Malaysian Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia leavers a scholarship to study the rigorous two-year IBDP.

Applications for the IB Scholarship are based on academic records, co-curricular involvement and commitment to community service, with shortlisted applicants undertaking an entrance exam and panel interview.

ISKL offers an exceptional international education that takes you places. Harvard, Yale and the London School of Economics are just some of the prestigious universities ISKL’s Malaysian IBDP Scholarship recipients have attended.
