Giant has maintained low prices for items under its LPTL campaign since last November, which gives assurance to consumers when they shop as they won’t bust their budget due to sudden price hikes.
MALAYSIA’s inflation rate, as measured by the consumer price index, increased 2.8% in May 2022 from a year earlier.According to Department of Statistics Malaysia (DOSM) chief statistician Datuk Seri Dr Mohd Uzir Mahidin, food inflation had risen to a new high of 5.2% – the highest since November 2011.
