MALAYSIA’s inflation rate, as measured by the consumer price index, increased 2.8% in May 2022 from a year earlier.According to Department of Statistics Malaysia (DOSM) chief statistician Datuk Seri Dr Mohd Uzir Mahidin, food inflation had risen to a new high of 5.2% – the highest since November 2011.
