Very few people know that the HONOR Number series is the first to debut many mobile imaging technologies in the industry.

In 2014 when smartphones in the market were still adopting a one-camera system, HONOR 6 Plus became the first to be equipped with a parallel bionic dual camera, which was the first time that the smartphone can achieved the bokeh effect like a camera does.

In 2018, HONOR 10 released the "AI photography scene recognition" function, using an algorithm to recognise a scene taken then optimising the photos according to different scenes. This function was soon pick up by a number of flagship smartphones.

In 2021, HONOR noticed the trend of vlogging and TikTok, and launched the multi-video recording function on the HONOR 50 for the first time.

From information that has been released by HONOR Malaysia, consumers can tell that the camera specifications of HONOR 70 is quite luxurious, with a dual main camera system that is rarely found in a mid-range smartphone.

A 54MP super sensing main camera is the first to feature Sony's latest IMX 800 sensor, while another 50MP main camera supports 122° ultra-wide-angle and 2.5CM macro photography.

Among them, the world's first IMX800 sensor is not to be underestimated. The 1/1.49-inch sensor and f/1.9 large aperture bring a good imaging foundation to HONOR 70.

In comparison with the IMX766 commonly used by mainstream flagships, the IMX800 embedded in the HONOR 70 propelled the dynamic range by 23%, beating its predecessor in terms of clarity, quality and low-light performance.
