Gribbles Pathology becomes Innoquest Pathology

Tan Sri Dr Yahya Awang, Pathology Asia chairman and Dr Nelson Nheu from Gribbles by Innoquest officiating the inauguration ceremony of Innoquest Pathology on June 8.

ON June 1, Gribbles by Innoquest officially became Innoquest Pathology. With a long history as a diagnostics leader for over 30 years in Malaysia, the question may arise: What has changed since the transition and what will remain the same?

Bringing Innoquest to Southeast Asia

The transition from Gribbles to Innoquest began in October 2021 when the consortium of Gribbles Pathology, Quantum Diagnostics and Clinipath (GQC) laboratories merged to become Gribbles by Innoquest.

In June 2022, Gribbles announced its rebranding to Innoquest Pathology, taking its place as Southeast Asia’s one of the fastest growing in-vitro diagnostic test provider with a strong presence in Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, the Philippines and Australia, with expertise in all aspects of clinical laboratory practices, including quality and service levels.

What has changed?

Innoquest’s new infrastructure will integrate all lab-related activities to provide a seamless experience for medical professionals and patients, including ordering and processing of tests, customised reports for doctors, real-time access to test results and remote patient monitoring via comprehensive electronic records.Innoquest’s new infrastructure will integrate all lab-related activities to provide a seamless experience for medical professionals and patients, including ordering and processing of tests, customised reports for doctors, real-time access to test results and remote patient monitoring via comprehensive electronic records.

The transition to Innoquest brings with it expanded offerings, including the latest and most comprehensive testing capabilities, a state-of-the-art IT support system and a larger global network of medical expertise.

Together with the rebranding, Innoquest concurrently announced its latest accreditation by the College of American Pathologists (CAP), making Innoquest Pathology the only multidisciplinary clinical laboratory in Malaysia to hold both CAP and MS ISO15189 accreditations, reinforcing its best-in-class standards, services and laboratory practices.

What remains the same?

The Gribbles guarantee of fast, dependable and best-in-class services remains untouched by the transition. Its expansive network of 85 diagnostic labs across Malaysia continue to serve over 4,000 general practitioners and 65 hospitals in the country around the clock, manned by over 1,200 highly trained staff.

With the strictest protocols governed by ISO and CAP, highly experienced scientists work around the clock to ensure that hospitals and clinics never face any downtime in diagnostics. With the strictest protocols governed by ISO and CAP, highly experienced scientists work around the clock to ensure that hospitals and clinics never face any downtime in diagnostics.

Innoquest is well equipped to meet the demand for efficient labs in today’s current post-pandemic, technologically advanced world. As a strong regional player, Innoquest can also help ensure that novel technologies are available early at an affordable cost to the Southeast Asian population - characteristics that are increasingly necessary as the world prepares for improved responsiveness to future pandemics and emergencies.

Today, Innoquest has the scale to bring together the latest and most comprehensive testing, IT support systems and medical expertise, so Malaysian patients can have access to affordable services that are on par with the best in the world.

As the transition to Innoquest continues to elevate the Gribbles name, doctors and patients in Malaysia - and the region - have much to look forward to.
