KUALA LUMPUR: Sustainable bio-based brand Readycare Signature, which offers cleaning products manufactured with sustainable or renewable plant-based materials in Malaysia, has recently been launched.
The company is founded by Readycare group director Yeoh Eng Foo, who will leverage his expertise to help Readycare Signature offer superior quality and sustainable solutions.
During the launch, it donated RM10,000 to WWF-Malaysia to support their conservation efforts.
Readycare Signature offers a wide range of bio-based products such as dishwashing liquid, laundry liquid detergent, multipurpose floor cleaner, glass cleaner, toilet blue cleaner and veggie wash and much more.
Bio-based products are frequently seen as potentially greener choices for petroleum-based alternatives with the potential to result in safer and healthier workplaces. Moreover, since no harsh chemicals are used, bio-based products contain plant-based materials that are typically friendlier to skin and could be a better alternative for sensitive skin.
The core of Readycare Signature’s establishment is the belief that nature offers an essential part of our daily lives and can help bring joy, inspiration and peace.
What the company aims to do is to make it simple for people to experience all that nature has to offer into their daily lives, allowing them to enjoy modern lifestyles while also connecting with nature.
It answers the rising need for alternative solutions that do not harm health or pollute our planet, as the company wants people to enjoy the benefits of biobased materials without sacrificing quality and safety.
Its products are touted to be the first in Malaysia to earn bio-based certification from the United States Department of Agriculture and are also certified vegan-friendly by the United Kingdom Vegan Society. In addition, the manufacturing line of Readycare Signature is certified with ISO 22716:2007 cosmetics Good Manufacturing Practices-certified and ISO 9001:2015 quality management system standard.
At the same time, Readycare Signature is stepping up its game with a new awareness campaign called ‘Our Eden Campaign’, which will be geared toward raising environmental awareness and converting our lifestyle to a modern bio-based one.
Yeoh shared, “Our research has shown that people are somewhat aware of how their lifestyles negatively affect the world around them, but feel helpless to change their habits because they don't know how to do so in a fashionable way.
“There are also plenty of people who don't want to go without their modern comforts. That's why we've created a line of products designed specifically to appeal to both groups: those who want trendy products they can use without sacrificing their comfort or convenience and those who want natural solutions for common problems like dry skin or dandruff.”
Some highlights during the campaign include visits to corporations, schools and universities; sharing sessions to promote bio-based lifestyles; providing free products to all workers and all school/universities workers and teachers during visits; educating the young generation about the benefits of bio-based products and reduce plastic waste with a refill station, with which free refills were provided.
For charity activities, Readycare Signature donated bio-based cleaning liquids to old folks and orphanages for underprivileged groups to enjoy the benefits of bio-based products, alongside donating bio-based toilet blue cleaner to schools, among others.
