The Yang di-Pertuan Agong writing Chinese calligraphy to ‘launch’ the LBS Bina Group CNY dinner.
LBS Bina Group Berhad’s Chinese New Year dinner on Tuesday at the Mandarin Oriental in KL was a night of festivity featuring sumptuous food, lion dance and a pulsating drum performance for their 800 guests.
The celebration was graced by Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah, who was accompanied by Raja Permaisuri Agong Tunku Hajah Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah.
Present were Selangor Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari, Agriculture and Food Security Minister Datuk Seri Mohamad Sabu, Home Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail, and Science, Technology and Innovation Minister Chang Lih Kang.
The Yang di-Pertuan Agong and Raja Permaisuri Agong joins in the CNY lou sang with Tan Sri Lim Hock San and his spouse.
“Having our Yang di-Pertuan Agong grace the LBS Bina Chinese New Year dinner for the Year of the Rabbit makes for a momentous occasion for LBS and an exceptional beginning to the year,” said LBS executive chairman Tan Sri Lim Hock San.

Lim and his spouse sharing the auspicious symbols of CNY with the King and Queen at the dinner.
He said the muhibah CNY dinner was synonymous with the current government’s initiative.
“LBS, better known as The People’s Developer, will continue to show ardent support in bridging the community and forming unity amidst diversity.

Among the guests were prominent figures in the government, banking and construction industries as well as Chinese community associations and foreign guests.
