This is why Panasonic Malaysia launched the expanded line of its “Made in Japan” cordless stick vacuum cleaner series last week, with the release of two new models – the MC-SB33J and MC-SB53K.
This follows the launch of the tangle-free cordless stick vacuum cleaner (MC-SB85K) one year ago.

The two new models feature Panasonic’s unique float-lite technology, which is a 360° flexible floor cleaning function that makes it easy to manoeuvre efficiently into tight and narrow spaces.
The vacuum cleaners also come with a new ergonomic handle design, which was curated by painstakingly from testing out 840 different patterns of handle designs, to create the perfect grip for easy navigation.
The two new models incorporate Panasonic’s unique float-lite technology, making it easy to manoeuvre efficiently into tight and narrow spaces.
For the MC-SB33J, this design, coupled with its ultra-light weight at just 1.3kg, minimises the burden on your arm as the vacuum cleaner has a high centre-of-gravity which makes it easy to lift. This also means that you no longer have to lug around a heavy, cumbersome vacuum cleaner for your daily cleaning.
The vacuum cleaners were designed with stress-free maintenance in mind, as the dust box and filter can be removed, cleaned and washed to keep them in top condition. You can soak the items in water to clean them.
Additionally, with a short charging time of just 3.5 hours, you won’t have to wait an entire day to use the vacuum cleaner again.

The MC-SB53K model comes with Panasonic’s innovative patented tangle-free power nozzle technology which was created specifically to prevent hair from getting caught in the vacuum cleaner’s nozzle, cleaning heads and filters.
This feature uses two conical shaped brushes that transfer hair to the centre of the vacuum head, before it is sucked in completely.
The brushes on the vacuum cleaner also have hard, Y-shaped bristles that create an 188% increase in bristle density, which widens its overall surface area. Thanks to the improved brushes and bristles, the vacuum cleaner can go from one surface to another with relative ease.
The MC-SB53K model enables you to “be your own guardian” as it comes with Panasonic’s house dust sensor feature. This feature detects microscopic particles of dust and dirt to ensure surfaces are clean.
The vacuum cleaner’s light will turn red when dust particles are present in the area you are vacuuming, and will shift to clear light when no dust is present.
