MALAYSIA’S leading international automotive trade fair Automechanika Kuala Lumpur 2023 is officially back.
Held across 11,071sqm at the KL Convention Centre, from today until March 18, this year’s instalment of the trade fair is hosting a record-breaking 330 exhibitors from 17 countries and regions.

With its unique “S.E.T.” (Sourcing, Entertainment and Training) concept, businesses of all sizes can explore prospects in the market on how the advancement of manufacturing, connectivity, digitalisation and electrification are transforming the local industry.
At Automechanika Kuala Lumpur, companies are putting their cutting-edge products, services and solutions under the spotlight as the increase in international participation provides more opportunities for local businesses to connect, network and exchange ideas with some of the most influential names in the global automotive industry.

The auto service and maintenance zone displays diagnostic and repair technology, as well as specialised equipment for EV repair and ADAS calibration.
Additionally, the commercial vehicle zone highlights aftermarket services, parts, fuels, lubricants and oils.
There will also be 14 different events held at Automechanika Kuala Lumpur, with each event being paired with a specific area, in order to probe into the selected region’s most pressing topics.
To illustrate, the International Bodyshop Industry Symposium (IBIS) Asean 2023 event held today brought together top managers, senior directors and business owners to explore the latest strategies for sustainable success in the collision repair industry.
Tomorrow’s Fleet Management conference will examine the best practices to ensure profitability and address solutions for the sector’s overall modernisation.
High-profile speakers from Chevron Malaysia are set to introduce solutions for commercial vehicles, including its Caltex Diesel with Techron D and Delo Engine Oils, that together provide reliability, durability and performance efficiency.
The Collision Repair Training workshop, on the other hand, offers hands-on training for repairing and maintaining high-voltage systems, as well as measuring ADAS calibration, workshop management systems, and ECU remapping and tuning.
Attendees will also receive an accredited certificate to endorse their service centre or workshop upon completing this two-day course.
Other events held at Automechanika Kuala Lumpur, such as AutoFest@KL, is open to the public for three days.
AutoFest@KL is an interactive and business-driven festival that comprises a number of different events, including the Auto NITZ party and EMMA Malaysia Final – Car Audio and Modification competition, which features over 70 modified cars.
