Its chief executive officer Chew Kian Kok in his opening speech said the hub located in the heart of Auto City, Juru, on mainland Penang offers a range of amenities and resources to support and inspire both domestic and international Web 3.0 professionals and communities.
“We are committed to nurturing and empowering Web3 talent. Within the Web 3.0 Hub and ecosystem, the company provides comprehensive Web3 education and a wealth of resources.
"Our aim is to foster collaboration, ignite knowledge-sharing, and spark innovation within the vibrant Web3 community.
“Serving as a catalyst for the widespread adoption of Web3 technology in Malaysia, the hub will empower individuals, businesses, and institutions to fully harness the potential of blockchain and artificial intelligence (AI)," he said at the opening on Saturday.
Chew added that since the Masverse's establishment, the company has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to creating a robust and thriving Web3 ecosystem that pushes the boundaries of what is possible.
"With a vision that extends beyond Malaysia, we aspire to lead globally, driving innovation and enabling seamless global connections.

Chew said the company's dedication to innovation is exemplified by the successful delivery of the first L2E (Learn to Earn) Web 3.0 education micro-certification course in Malaysia.
"Additionally, harnessing the power of blockchain technology, we have also introduced the innovative MyEduID management and verification system for educational certifications.
"Today, the company proudly unveils the Web 3.0 Hub and presents the first Web 3.0 guidebook in Malaysia, marking another significant milestone in advancing the Web3 industry," he added.
The hub and the guidebook were launched by MDEC board of directors independent non-executive director Prof Emeritus Datuk Dr Halimah Badioze Zaman.
She said Web 3.0 is the next generation of the world wide web, in which most users will be connected via a decentralised network and have access to their own data.
"The advent of Web 3.0 will foster the emergence of fresh economic prospects, and at the forefront of this transformative growth will be Masverse,” she said.
After the opening, Chew also signed several memorandums of understanding with companies like UKISS Technology and Sinisana Technologies.
