As standard, these two models come with a twin AWD electric motor powertrain with a power distribution of 408 hp, 660Nm of torque, and acceleration from 0-100 km/h in 4.7 seconds, with a range of up to 450km for the C40 Recharge (according to WLTP) and 438km for the XC40 Recharge model (according to WLTP).
The Volvo C40 and XC40 Recharge Pure Electric support 11 kW AC charging, or up to 150 kW DC fast charging, which allows the 78 kWh battery pack to be charged from 10% to 80% in just 28 minutes.

Charging times are dependent on factors such as outdoor temperature, current battery temperature, charging equipment, battery condition and car condition.
