ASNB rewards Simpan Vaganza and Simpan Vaganza Online campaign winners

PERMODALAN Nasional Berhad's (PNB) wholly-owned unit trust management company, Amanah Saham Nasional Berhad (ASNB), recently rewarded the winners of Phase 2 of the Simpan Vaganza and Simpan Vaganza Online campaigns.

The prize-giving ceremony, which was held at Menara PNB in Kuala Lumpur on Jan 11, celebrated the winners of the Simpan Vaganza and Simpan Vaganza Online investment campaigns.

“In Phase 1 and Phase 2 of the Simpan Vaganza and Simpan Vaganza Online campaigns, there was a total of 2.3 million participations from Malaysians nationwide,” said ASNB chief executive officer and executive director Muzzaffar Othman.

“1,297 winners were identified in both phases, with 1,153 winners from the Simpan Vaganza campaign and 144 winners from the Simpan Vaganza Online campaign.”

Phase 1 ran from March 1 to June 30, 2023, while Phase 2 occurred from July 1 to Oct 31, 2023.

Muzzaffar shared that there are a total of RM880,000 worth of prizes to be won in each phase, with the grand prize for the first two phases being a brand-new Toyota Yaris.

Other prizes include iPhone 14 smartphones, Acer laptops, Samsung Smart TVs, PlayStation 5 and vacation vouchers.

Both campaigns are a part of ASNB's annual initiative to encourage more Malaysians to save for the long term and adopt digital solutions to facilitate investments.

“ASNB conducts multiple annual campaigns to encourage the public to have long-term savings,” added Muzzaffar.

“The goal is to familiarise everyone with easy and safe investment methods to achieve high-potential, competitive and stable returns.

“Despite many entries coming from new investors, ASNB consistently motivates Malaysians to continue saving and investing in our managed low-risk investment instruments, suitable for all ages”.

“ASNB takes pride in offering easily understandable investment products. These investments can help individuals achieve their financial goals, whether it be covering education expenses, buying a home or even building a retirement fund.”

He added that he hopes more Malaysians will participate in Phase 3 of the Simpan Vaganza and Simpan Vaganza Online campaigns which runs till Feb 29, with the grand prize of a Toyota Corolla Cross still up for grabs.

The Simpan Vaganza campaign is exclusively for investments in ASB and ASB 2 accounts. At the same time, Simpan Vaganza Online is open to investments in any ASNB unit trust through online platforms such as myASNB, internet banking, e-wallets and ASNB Kiosks.

To participate in the Simpan Vaganza campaign, a minimum investment of RM1,000 is required, whereas the Simpan Vaganza Online campaign requires a minimum investment of RM500.
