Australian Matriculation (AUSMAT)
For over 30 years, Sunway AUSMAT has excelled as a leading provider of the globally-recognised Western Australia Certificate of Education (WACE) in Malaysia, earning more than 130 world awards and global recognition for outstanding academic performance.
Aligned with the Year 12 curriculum of Western Australia, Sunway AUSMAT offers a diverse range of 100 subject combinations, spanning Science and Humanities, with a strong emphasis on fostering 21st-century skills.
In the most recent WACE examinations, Sunway AUSMAT demonstrated outstanding performance, with an impressive 32% of students achieving the prestigious distinction of ranking in the top 10% globally.
Cambridge GCE Advanced Level (A-Level)
Widely recognised as one of the most esteemed pre-university qualifications globally, the GCE A-Level qualification demonstrates superior academic ability for admission into top-tier universities worldwide.
Administered by the Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) in the UK, the programme prioritises in-depth knowledge, strong reasoning, and critical thinking.
In the Oct/Nov 2023 examination, an impressive 53.1% of Sunway College students achieved Straight A*/As, reflecting the institution's consistent record of excellence.
Sunway students also dominated the 2023 Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards (OCLA), by clinching 23 accolades.

Monash University Foundation Year (MUFY)
Sunway College is the only provider of the MUFY programme in Malaysia, offering a direct pathway to Monash University – one of the world’s top-ranked universities and a distinguished member of Australia's Group of Eight prestigious universities.
Based on 2020 and 2021 results, a remarkable 505 graduates were awarded the Monash High Achiever Scholarship, with a score of 89% and above.
Designed without a specific disciplinary focus, MUFY allows students the flexibility to choose from a range of 12 subjects. This freedom enables them to tailor their academic journey based on personal interests and the requirements of their chosen university courses.
Canadian International Matriculation Programme (CIMP)
Sunway College's CIMP is the sole Canadian pre-university programme accredited by the Ontario Ministry in Malaysia.
In 2022, Sunway College achieved a notable feat, with over 60% of its students attaining Ontario Scholar status. Additionally, over 10,000 CIMP graduates have successfully gained admission to more than 230 universities worldwide.
Delivered by an Ontario-trained faculty with a strong emphasis on independent research and learning skills, successful graduates of CIMP receive the prestigious Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) upon completion.
Sunway Diploma Programmes
Sunway College’s commitment in providing academic pathways extends to its diploma programmes, tailored to nurture future-ready talent.
Its diverse fields of studies include business administration, accounting, finance, culinary arts, hotel management, graphic and multimedia design, interior design, nursing, communications, information technology, computer science and fashion design technology.
Additionally, the institution boasts the first-of-its-kind Diploma in Digital Creative Content in Malaysia.
American Degree Transfer Programme (ADTP)
Sunway’s collaboration with Arizona State University (ASU), recognised as America’s most innovative university, provides students with access to acclaimed US degree programmes in sought-after fields, via its American Degree Transfer Programme (ADTP).
Students can join the programme upon completion of SPM or IGCSE, and have exclusive access to Master Class by ASU professors, and a Certificate of Innovation from ASU with no cost to the students.
Aligned with the American university system, it allows students to complete their initial two undergraduate years at Sunway before transferring to the US for degree completion. This can potentially save the education cost by 75% or more.
To date, Sunway has successfully prepared students for transfers to prestigious US universities, such as Cornell, University of Michigan, University of Texas at Austin, Boston University, and many more.
Sunway Foundation Programme (SFP)
The Sunway Foundation Programme, consisting of the Foundation in Arts (FIA) and Foundation in Science and Technology (FIST), is an in-house programme designed to provide students with pathways to Sunway University.
Faculty members of the SFP hail from diverse industry backgrounds, to ensure students benefit from the wealth of real-world expertise brought into the classroom by professionals.
The 2022 results revealed that more than 80% of programme graduates qualified for the Jeffrey Cheah ACE Scholarship. Additionally, both programmes consistently produced the highest number of Sunway University First Class Honours students.
Professional Accounting
Sunway TES's prestigious Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) programmes are designed to shape versatile, well-rounded professionals in the fast-changing business landscape.
These programmes – recognised worldwide and fully accredited by the Malaysian Qualification Agency (MQA), prioritises practical training, ethics, technology, and industry connections, enhancing graduates' career prospects.
Students at Sunway TES can opt for the ACCA Foundation in Accountancy (ACCA FIA) or the Certificate in Finance, Accounting, and Business (CFAB).
This pathway offers the fastest route to ACCA and ACA qualifications, allowing graduates to progress directly to the ACCA applied skills level for ACCA FIA and ICAEW ACA for CFAB upon programme completion.
