Make your own magic with HONOR Magic6 Pro

The HONOR Magic6 Pro takes AI to the next level with a platform-level on-device AI large language model, which supports up to seven billion parameters.

THIS year, the mobile phone industry is entering a new era of productivity and utility with the integration of innovative artificial intelligence (AI) features.

HONOR has been using AI in its smartphones since the release of the HONOR 10, and has introduced the adoption of advanced technology such as large language models and generative AI in its new HONOR Magic6 Pro.

HONOR Magic6 Pro, an AI powerhouse

Unlike its competitors, which adopt AI features via cloud-based or third-party services, the HONOR Magic6 Pro is equipped with a platform-level on-device AI large language model, which supports up to seven billion parameters.

HONOR chief executive officer George Zhao says that the development of on-device AI models holds endless potential as it is able to provide personalised services for users based on their preferences and perceptions.

“We believe AI will rebuild operating systems and our future smartphone experience. HONOR will advance our AI strategy by integrating it into MagicOS and all our devices, ensuring a human-centric experience that delights our users with every interaction,” says Zhao.

HONOR also collaborates with ecosystem partners in mobile platforms and applications.

Nicknamed “The Magic Phone”, the HONOR Magic6 Pro has also benefitted from industry collaboration with ecosystem partners in AI development and innovation for its new Magic Portal feature.

The Magic Portal is an intent-based shortcut recommendation feature that lets users seamlessly switch and access services between apps and devices with a simple swipe.

This new feature demonstrates how AI can change a user’s mobile experience with a human-centric intent-based user interface. It also enables the smartphone to understand text messages or images, combined with user habits, to predict and provide more accurate solutions.

For example, HONOR Magic6 Pro users only need to copy an address and drag it into a navigation application inside the Magic Capsule. This will allow the user to immediately start navigating, eliminating the need to complete tedious steps such as copying and pasting the address and selecting your desired departure time.
