International feng shui coach and the visionary behind Show & Tell Academy, Tang transforms thousands of lives every year through the art of Chinese astrology.
IN EARLY 2017, Tang Eng Cuang was admitted to hospital for seven days due to severe kidney injury caused by the corporate work. He found himself clueless and directionless about his corporate life and his future.
“By the time I was 30 years’ old, I had achieved corporate success, but had no life fulfilment or life purpose. What changed my life was Chinese astrology, which gave me the ability to turn my passion into reality,” says Tang in an interview.
Despite having climbed the corporate ladder to a regional position within a multinational corporation in just five years, this wake-up call forced him to reassess the meaning behind his relentless pursuit of success.
Tang's journey of self-discovery led him to the ancient wisdom of Chinese astrology, which offered him useful insights into his personal destiny, proving to be a transformative experience.

Turning an ordinary past into an extraordinary future
In 2017, to pursue his childhood interest, he travelled to Taiwan to learn Chinese astrology. A reading of his destiny chart provided him with clarity about his past achievements and illuminated his future path.
“The power of Chinese astrology gives us the ability to see what will happen in the future, and then come back to live differently, so that we can change the outcome in the future,” he points out.
This revelation was the catalyst for his transformation from a corporate professional to a global educator.
In 2020, he left his lucrative corporate job and co-founded the Show & Tell Academy, born out of his passion for Chinese astrology and his desire to share his life-changing art with others.
The academy specialises in teaching Chinese astrology, including bazi, qimen dunjia, feng shui, ziwei doushu, yijing, date selection and face reading.
“There’s a difference between purpose and passion. Purpose is how you use your passion to help others. My passion is Chinese astrology, and my purpose is to teach others to learn Chinese astrology effectively,” he says.
With his significant contributions in the industry, Tang was awarded "Malaysia Influential Educator", "Malaysia Top 20 Young Entrepreneur", "G Forty Top 40 Young Entrepreneur" and “Best Intelligent Figure".
A classroom with students from 60 countries
The traditional method of studying Chinese astrology can be dull as it requires students to memorise Chinese characters and the formulas. This process can be confusing for some.
With their tagline “Visualise, Modernise, Summarise”, Tang and his team are committed to making the teachings of Chinese astrology easy for the global audience to learn effectively and effortlessly.
“There’s a famous saying, ‘a picture paints a thousand words’ – memorising words is hard, but visualising pictures is easy, therefore the best way to learn is not to memorise, but to visualise.” He explains.
Tang and his team employ the world’s first pictorial teaching method, using illustrations and drawings, to convey the teachings in a digestible manner.
They also teach ancient wisdom in a modern twist – besides using online platforms like Zoom, they have also developed more than 10 apps for the respective programmes, so that their students can plot their destiny chart within seconds with one click.
This enhances the students’ learning experiences.
Through its unique approach, within four years, the academy has attracted and impacted over 3,000 students from 60 different countries. It has helped them find direction and life purpose, empowering them to make informed decisions and improve their own lives.
With such contributions in the industry of education, Show & Tell academy was awarded "Malaysia Influential Education Brand Award" in 2024.

In January 2025, Show & Tell Academy will host a live-in-person astrological talk, whereby participants can gain insights into their wealth, love luck, career prospects and health condition for the next year, based on their animal zodiac.
The seminar will also delve into the feng shui for 2025, offering valuable guidance on enhancing prosperity through wealth activation and misfortune mitigation.
Show & Tell Academy hosts insightful seminars, sharing the wisdom of ancient teachings to guide and enlighten attendees on their paths to self-discovery.
Additionally, a study tour is in the works for next year, where the Show & Tell Academy team will bring participants to visit historical sites that hold great significance in Chinese astrology and feng shui – with the aim of enriching their learning experience through real-world exploration and interaction.
When being asked about how to master the art of Chinese astrology, he says, “You might be limited in your ability, but you must not limit yourself in your persistence. When you learn, you need to be consistent. Knowledge is not power. It only has the potential to be powerful. You can attend a class and learn everything in it, but if you don’t apply the knowledge, it will be useless. Your efforts pay the dividends”.
