MOBILE phones are fast becoming smart companions that make our lives easier.
With various apps at our fingertips, daily tasks can be completed with ease while keeping us connected on the go.
Want food delivered to your doorstep? There’s an app for that. Want a personal driver? There’s also an app for that.
Want to control your ceiling fan from wherever you are? Well, now, there’s an app for that too.
KDK Nodoka series
The days of wall-mounted dial switches or remote controls are over as KDK Malaysia’s latest Nodoka series ceiling fans can be controlled via an app available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
These ceiling fans come in Pearl White and Matte Gray, with three and five-bladed options available.
Each ceiling fan can be connected via WiFi and linked to a maximum of four accounts, while one account can control up to eight fans.
This feature saves time when you need to turn multiple ceiling fans on or off simultaneously, as the unlimited control range allows you to do so even when you’re away from home.
The Nodoka series comes equipped with the 1/f Yuragi function, which simulates a gentle, natural breeze to enhance air circulation and create a more comfortable airflow.
The series also features scheduling and timer functions so that users can enjoy a comfortable breeze upon arriving home, all while saving time and electricity.
In addition to controlling the fan speed, the Nodoka series is also fitted with LED lights that come with four lighting settings for daily activities, including work, dining, rest and sleep – all of which can be adjusted to suit the user’s comfort level.
The K15UC (60-inch) and K12UC (48-inch) models, which come with LED lights, also have a scene-setting feature, allowing users to adjust the brightness and colour temperature depending on their mood.
If you’re looking for a cosy candlelight effect or a sun-kissed glow, you can switch to warm-toned lighting.
On the other hand, if you crave a productive setting perfect for carrying out tasks, you can switch to cool-toned lights with a bluish hue.
The Nodoka series even has a reverse function that pushes air upwards and circulates it evenly for better air distribution.
This reverse function works well with air conditioners as it helps maximise air conditioning efficiency and save energy in the process.
By setting the fan to rotate in reverse, it pulls the cool air upwards and circulates it around the room, allowing users to experience a comfortable airflow and temperature.
