Data or voice? Digi wants you to pick the option that's right for you.

Digi has tweaked its SmartPlan packages to appeal to heavy data and voice users. Its four data plans -- SmartPlan 50, SmartPlan 78, SmartPlan 108 and SmartPlan 148 -- will each come with two options (High Data and High Voice) and it's up to the user to pick one.

High Data will grant users more data but fewer free voice calls and SMSes. For example, with the High Data option for SmartPlan 148, the entire 6GB of data will be available for to the user to use as he or she sees fit. Previously, the 6GB quota was split -- only 3GB was was available for general usage as the other 3GB was limited to apps such as Facebook, Twitter and Whatsapp. Users will also get 400 minutes of calls and 400 SMSes for free.
