Mapping tech company Here Technologies names Chicago its HQ for the Americas

Here Technologies, which collects and analyses traffic data, has designated Chicago as its headquarters for the Americas, in part because of access to the area's data scientists and other technology workers. 

“For us, it's all about talent,” said Angel Mendez, executive vice president and chief operating officer of Here Technologies. “Our offerings are extending and growing. ... I can't emphasise enough how important the ecosystem of universities and startups has become for us in this area.”
