LG’s next smartphone could have rear lenses in the double digits

As flagship smartphones add more camera lenses with each generation, LG is reportedly planning to quadruple the highest number currently on the market with what could be their next smartphone release. 

If you thought the LG V40 ThinQ was impressive with its three rear-facing lenses, get ready to be blown away: In a recently granted patent spotted by LetsGoDigital this weekend, LG reserves the possibility of having a 16-lens rear camera setup for themselves that could bring 3D imagery to an entirely new and incredibly customisable level.
