Has your Unifi been upgraded to Turbo? Do you have the right equipment? Check now

The Turbo Upgrade will bump 20Mbps or lower subscribers to 100Mbps, 30Mbps to 300Mbps, 50Mbps to 500Mbps, and 100Mbps to 800Mbps.

Telekom Malaysia (TM) customers can now check the status of their Turbo upgrade, and those that have been upgraded can check if their existing equipment will support the much faster speed.

To check, head to the Unifi website and log in to your account and click on your Username on the top right hand corner. In the dropdown menu that appears, select Turbo Status.

If you have not been upgraded yet, you will see the New Entitlement Package which will display when you will get the upgrade. Unfortunately, it does not give an exact date but a range – for instance, it may say your plan will be upgraded between October and December 2018.

TM’s Turbo Upgrade will bump 20Mbps (megabits per second) or lower subscribers to 100Mbps, 30Mbps to 300Mbps, 50Mbps to 500Mbps, and 100Mbps to 800Mbps.

Users who have been upgraded will see their new speed displayed on top and a Check button at the bottom.

Click on the Check button to find out if your modem and router can handle the new speed. If they can’t, TM will offer to replace the equipment.

Users can also check out this link to find out how to optimise their Turbo Speed upgrade so they get the full experience.
