Google has expanded its selection of search results for Google Hotel to include more than just hotels or bed and breakfasts.
The new search will also let you find other rental properties such as holiday homes, hostels or even beach houses.
However, the service still doesn't provide results for Airbnb.
Google Hotels also lets you book any room via the search, as it takes you straight to the provider's website when you choose to make a reservation.
In order to get as many deals and offers as possible, Google has partnered with a number of booking websites such as Expedia, Hotels.com, HomeAway and TripAdvisor.
The new service is available on mobile devices for now, but it will be rolled out to desktop versions next month as well, Google has confirmed. – dpa
