Boost is working with Shell Malaysia to give drivers more options for cashless transactions and even a chance to get some money back.

More than 80% of Shell petrol stations or 800 stops now support the Boost eWallet since the collaboration started last month.

To celebrate the partnership, Boost is offering customers RM5 cashback when they spend more than RM40 using the eWallet at selected Shell stations.

However, this is limited to the first two transactions and is only valid from May 14 to June 14.

Axiata Digital Services Sdn Bhd CEO Mohd Khairil Abdullah says the goal is to help customers pay for their goods and services in a convenient and safe manner.

“As such, we see this partnership as providing more convenience to our users, because now they can use our eWallet at Shell stations nationwide,” he said  in a press statement.

Axiata Digital Services is the parent company to Boost.

Shell Malaysia Trading Sdn Bhd managing director Shairan Huzani Husain adds that the partnership offers additional option to pay when fuelling up or grabbing a treat at Shell petrol stations.

To pay, customers would need to go into the Shell Select store to scan the Boost QR code.
