Celcom to support Apple Watch Series 5 starting next month, pre-order begins Dec 6

Apple Watch Series 5 requires an iPhone 6s or later with iOS 13 or later. — Apple

Celcom is the latest telco to support the Apple Watch Series 5 with built-in cellular service. This means users will get to send and receive text messages, answer phone calls, receive notifications, and stream Apple Music and Apple Podcast on the go.

This works as long as you are also using Celcom on your iPhone, as connecting the Apple Watch to a cellular network requires that your smartphone also be connected to the same carrier.
