Japanese gaming giant Nintendo said on Jan 31 that there would be no fresh model of its hot-selling Switch console this year, dashing the hopes of fans eager for a new version.
"We have no plans to launch a new Nintendo Switch model in 2020," president Shuntaro Furukawa told a briefing in Tokyo.
