Recycle plastic packages from online shopping to protect environment, consumers urged


Consumers are urged to recycle plastic packaging received from online shopping during MCO, to help protect the environment. — Bloomberg

SWM Environment Sdn Bhd (SWM Environment) has urged the public to improve recycling practices by separating plastic packages received through online purchases.

Its Corporate Affairs general manager Mohd Norlisam Mohd Nordin said that since online purchases ranked as the top choice among consumers during the movement control order (MCO), conditional MCO and recovery MCO period, surely they would involve the use of lots of plastic packages.
