Zoom to add adverts for free tier users


Zoom tests advertisements, but only for free users that join meetings hosted by fellow free users. — Zoom

Zoom is testing advertisements that will affect users on the free tier, saying the move is to support continued access by non-premium users.

“For this initial programme, ads will be rolled out only on the browser page users see once they end their meeting,” it said, in a blogpost.
