Google has revealed that every day more than 200 million people around the world are now using Android Go, a stripped-down version of its mobile operating system aimed at emerging countries. This announcement comes as Android 12 (Go edition) has just been rolled out.

This new version, modelled of course on Android 12, which appeared earlier this year, promises a faster and more privacy-friendly experience than ever before, even on the most basic devices.
