Celcom has introduced Xpax Mix & Match, a new prepaid plan offering that allows users to customise the validity, data quota and Internet speed according to their needs.

Users can start with a primary plan from five-day validity to 30 days, and opt for up to 40GB of data or select an unlimited data plan.

They can also select optional add-ons such as unlimited voice calls for RM3 or 10GB Internet data for specific apps such as Netflix, YouTube and PUBG Mobile, which ranges in price from RM5 for one app to RM8 for all three apps. Some plans also come with auto-renewal such as the 4G Internet data plan with 30 days validity for RM20.

Celcom Axiata Bhd chief consumer business officer Chee Loo Fun said the prepaid plans allow customers to pay for and get exactly what they want.

“For customers who enjoy video streaming and gaming, we have our Celcom Xpax Unlimited High-Speed Plans from only RM35 per month inclusive of voice services. Or if customers would like to just have Internet access on a budget, especially digital natives, they can enjoy our best savings plan that gives 8GB Internet quota for only RM20 per month, meeting their everyday connectivity needs,” Chee said in a press statement.

According to details in the Terms and Conditions listed, customers who opt for any of the unlimited data plans with 3Mbps or 6Mbps speeds will be subjected to FUP (Fair Usage Policy) of 20GB or 60GB depending on the validity of the plan. After full utilisation of FUP, the speed will be reduced to 512kbps until the plan expires.

Celcom prepaid customers can check out more details about the Mix & Match plan in the Celcom Life app.
