PETALING JAYA: Maxis Home Fibre users are experiencing intermittent connectivity issues with the broadband service.

Many customers have taken to Twitter to complain that their connections are down or very slow.

However, the issue does not appear to be affecting all Maxis Home Fibre users.

According to the website Down Detector, it started receiving numerous reports on the service disruption at about 3pm today (Feb 15).

The reports appear to be mostly from Kuala Lumpur, Selangor and Johor.

Maxis has responded to users on Twitter, acknowledging that its service is facing issues, though it didn’t give a timeline for when the problems will be resolved.

“Hi, sorry for the inconvenience. We are aware of the fibre issue you are experiencing and are doing our best to resolve this issue as soon as possible,” the company’s MaxisListens Twitter account posted.

LifestyleTech has reached out to Maxis for comments on when the service will be restored.
