CelcomDigi has announced that customers can now access services at the physical stores of both its networks.

This includes a total of 534 branches of Blue Cube and Digi store branded locations nationwide.

According to the company, 11 types of sales and service transactions are available at the stores, such as SIM card replacements, bill payments, prepaid reloads, plan changes and porting in from a different network.

New users will also be able to complete their registration for either Celcom or Digi at the stores as well.

While the telcos’ physical stores will serve customers across both networks, online services and transactions are still separated, and will need to go through the Celcom Life and MyDigi apps respectively.

This comes after the Celcom-Digi merger back in November of last year.

Earlier this month, the telco extended its free 5G trial to April 30, with Digi users slated to get continued access via a 5G booster add-on plan costing RM10 a month after April.

Celcom users on the other hand can only obtain 5G connectivity under certain plans after the free trial, without an add-on plan option. It’s also worth noting that there hasn’t been a fee confirmation on the Celcom front.

In January, it began offering 5G roaming in a total of 38 countries.
