CelcomDigi has introduced Xpax Postpaid Unlimited 75, a new unlimited data plan with free 10GB monthly Internet hotspot for RM75.

The company added that the plan also comes with 10Mbps speed. Its FAQ also stated that the plan is subjected to 1,000GB fair usage policy (FUP) to ensure that every subscriber uses mobile data responsibly.

Once the FUP quota has been fully utilised, the company in its FAQ said that Internet speed will be optimised or reduced to 1.5Mbps for the next 100GB. After that, it will be reduced to 512kbps. Customers will receive reminders via SMS on usage utilisation.

For comparison; other Xpax postpaid plans include the Xpax 60 with 20GB Internet data for RM60 per month and Xpax 40 with 10GB Internet data for RM40 a month. Both plans do not come with additional data for hotspot.

All Xpax plans offer unlimited streaming to YouTube but the Xpax 60 and 40 are limited to 720p and 480p resolution respectively.

The Xpax 60 and 40 plans do come with free 5G access for a limited period while 5G access is not listed for the new 75 plan. The company has previously announced that its free 5G trial access is extended until April 30.

Customers can get the new 75 plan for RM65 monthly if they commit to a 12-month contract. More information about the new plan is available here.

Meanwhile, eligible Digi Prepaid Next users can also access 5G services for free starting today (March 16) if they opt for the 5G booster. Digi listed the 5G Booster pass for RM10 monthly.
